The GenOne Model: a pathway of support from middle school to college graduation
At GenOne, we provide a comprehensive pathway of support that begins in middle school and extends all the way through college graduation. Our goal is for middle school students, families, and partner schools to see a clear, sustained pathway of support for their education. We select a talented group of scholars each year and commit to supporting them for 10 to 12 years!
Our model is grounded in trust, relationships, and expert navigation of K-12 and post-secondary systems.
This long-term support model aims to help students graduate from college with minimal debt and greater career and economic mobility opportunities.
We believe this sustained commitment leads to their success in education, future careers, and life.

Yes and no. GenOne has scholarship partners who provide scholarships uniquely to GenOne Scholars. Some are competitive to local or regional markets, and while others are reserved for Scholars who meet specific eligibility criteria. GenOne only provides direct college scholarships to a small number of Scholars (1-2) dependent on funds available and considerable financial need.
This is not guaranteed for each Scholar!
GenOne is a college preparatory program that supports students in becoming "scholarship ready." We also support Scholars in conducting comprehensive scholarship searches, writing scholarship essays, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), interpreting college financial aid award letters, and making an informed, affordable college decision.
